So apparently there was a huge line across the street for Acme Oyster House (another place that I wanted to try) however, I really did not have the time or patience to wait. Felix’ s was recommended to me by my former boss who went to law school in NOLA, therefore I decided to give it a try.
I must say, it was some of the best and freshest oyster in the French Quarter. Service was excellent, friendly, and fast. The atmosphere was the epitome of southern hospitality and good dining.
While I didn’t order the Char grilled Oysters, the guy next to me did. (I didn’t get a picture because I didn’t want to be rude but they looked amazing.) They are grilled over an open flame in a half shell with a butter Parmesan sauce!
I give this place the Ash Renee stamp of approval…… GO TRY THIS the next time you are in NOLA!
