Desire Bistro & Oyster Bar
300 Bourbon St
New Orleans, LA 70130
Neighborhood: French Quarter
This was a solid eat in New Orleans. The Fried Seafood Platter was fresh, not over-fried, and tasty. The crab cake was moist and tasty as well.
The catfish PO-boy sandwich was really good and to my surprise, they gave you two sandwiches!!! (Although too much for any normal person to eat). My only criticism was that I wished the bread on the Po-boy sandwich wasn’t so thick.
Oh let me not forget to mention that the gumbo was decent as well.
Overall a solid eat in the French Quarter especially just for a casual lunch time meal.
Nice page I like how you review local nola restaurants. I thought you might be interested in a new pastry shop that is trying to open up in New Orleans. We were just featured on NOLA EATER and were on Fox 8. Check it out
