With so many different dining options in the culinary capital of the Caribbean it’s really hard to decide which restaurants to give a try. However, the Fish Pot should definitely be on your shortlist of restaurants to try. Located on the northwest coast of Barbados, the Fish Pot is a seafood, oceanfront restaurant. that boasts one of the island’s most tranquil locations. The 17 years old husband and wife run, restaurant occupies a 17th-century fort called Fort Rupert. The oceanfront restaurant serves freshly prepared delicacies whilst you enjoy the sea and sunset views. The restaurant is vegetarian-friendly with vegan and gluten-free options. 17 years after opening, the Fish Pot is considered by many to be one of the leading restaurants in Barbados.
From the moment, I entered the oceanfront restaurant, I knew I was about to have an enjoyable experience. Overall, the views and atmosphere were perfect for a gourmet dining experience in Barbados.
Here’s what my dining partners and I tried:

Overall, my dining partners and I really enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was perfect, the service was friendly, accommodating and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delectable, highlighted by the corn risotto, which (dare I say) was the best I’ve ever had. In any event, the Fish Pot is an absolute must-try during your visit to Barbados.
