This salmon is delicious, quick, and simple! The salmon can be served over a salad (like I did) or with your favorite starch and/or veggies. This delicious recipe can be made in under 30 minutes. Great for an everyday dinner entree and.or a quick meal after a workout.
Prep Time: 20-30 minutes
Cook Time: 5-10 minutes
Total Time: 25-40 minutes
Yield: SERVES 2-4
Ingredients:
- 2-4 salmon fillets
- 1-3 Tbsp. canola oil (or other vegetable oil) for frying
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. minced lemongrass
- Zest of one lime
Mix all the ingredient in a bowl and let marinate for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat a stove-top grill or use an electric grill (George Forman). Add salmon steaks to skillet. Sear until brown and crisp, about 5 minutes. Turn fillets over and sear the other side until salmon is just cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Serve over a bed of lettuce or with your favorite side dish.
