The Palm Tribeca (Tribeca)

I attended a business/office gathering at The Palm over the holidays. Tucked away on West street, if you have no reason to be in that area, you (or I) may have never discovered The Palm Tribeca.

Disclaimer, this was an office gathering, nevertheless, I’ve had bad experience even at office gatherings. Therefore,  I will still note that the staff was extremely accommodating, welcoming, and attentive at the Palm Tribeca. As part of our package, we received a prix fixe menu which came with our choice of an appetizer -salad or shrimp, an entree and dessert. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail, which was large and fresh. For my entree, I ordered the New York Strip Steak, which was cooked perfectly “medium” as ordered and was seasoned to perfection. Our table also received family style creamy spinach and regular sauteed spinach, both delicious.

My dessert, the cheesecake was absolutely delicious and was my second favorite item, behind the steak. The crust was a delicious graham cracker crust,  delightfully moist and sweet. The cheesecake filling had the right balance of sweetness and savory cream cheese flavor and was complimented very well with the graham cracker crust.

Overall, The Palm Tribeca is a solid steak establishment with excellent service perfect for lunch if you are in the area.

Perfect for: Business lunch, birthdays, date night, special occasions
