Chinese Tuxedo (Chinatown)

Chinese Tuxedo is located inside a former opera house in Chinatown. This chic restaurant serves a delicious contemporary Chinese menu, adding a little variety to the more traditional Chinatown restaurant scene.

I stumbled across the restaurant this summer and admittedly, I’ve been addicted since my first bite. The menu features a mixture of both large and small plates, from noodles, steak and dumpling. Everything I’ve tried to date has been delicious, including the variety of wine-infused cocktails.  The service was also notably prompt, friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is chic and makes for a fun and sexy date night.

Here is what I tried during my last visit.

Sesame Prawn Toast “Jerk Style”

Crispy Eggplant, with Sichuan and Peanut Caramel

Big Eye Tuna, Strange Flavor Dressing, Chili Oil and Peanuts

Overall, Chinese Tuxedo is a must try in the Chinatown neighborhood. The food will not disappoint.
