Cosme is a delicious, contemporary Mexican restaurant in the Flatiron District from Chef Enrique Olvera.
The restaurant’s ambiance is super trendy and chic; so of course, reservations are still hard to come by. If you’re a “walk in”, try coming during “off-peak” hours or plan to sit at the bar if you don’t want to wait. (Which is what I had to do during my last visit).
I was very impressed with the food as Cosme. Despite the fact that the prices are “up there”, everything I ordered was extremely flavorful, very fresh and of ample portions. The fish taco was a meal highlight. These tacos were very different from any other taco I’ve had in New York City, which is a good thing!
Overall, I’d recommend Cosme for a fun “Sex and the City” type of night.
