Wok to Walk (Midtown West)

To sum this place up, it’s a fast, tasty, and quick-lunch! I go here when I’m in the mood for something simple. Although, judging by the line wrapped around the block on 38th street, you would think they were serving gourmet noodles or something. While it’s not gourmet, it one of the tastier, inexpensive lunch options in the area. I also enjoy watching the cooks make the meal right in front of you while you wait.

Your options include four noodles and two types of rice that come with the basic mixed in veggies, chopped cabbage, broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, and egg and your choice from eight sauces. You will pay extra for the premium toppings and protein, which can quickly add up if you are not careful. When I’m in the mood for a low carb option, I go for the Veggie dish – which as you guessed it without the noodles and/or rice and packed with veggies.

There is little to no seating in the place so this is definitely the type of lunch that you take back to your office/desk.
