NYE in NYC: Bring in 2014

New York City is an amazing place to party and hang out but when it comes to NYE …. I’ve had enough. I mean seriously, how many years can you do the Times Square Ball dropping? I only survived this feat once, and honestly, I did not make it because I got so cold that me and boyfriend at that time just left. In subsequent years, I moved on to the non-tourist things and decided to go to the overpriced clubs. Well that was a big waste of MONEY! Of course I had a great time with friends but really, we didn’t have to bring in the year going $600+ in the hole.  So where does that leave me this year?? Having an amazing dinner with my girl. That’s right, dinner!!! I put on my makeup and a cute dress and I hit the town for …. Dinner!!!

However, to my surprise, the NYE Gods had other plans for me after dinner. On a fluke, through my “connections” I received free VIP tickets to the Gansevoort Park Avenue!

While this is a pretty expensive option by my standards and thank God my tickets were free,  I still think everyone should try it just once if they can! I had an amazing time and even received a free bottle of Dom Perignon compliments of a stranger who said that me and my girl deserved it because we were beautiful! What a way to bring in the New Year!

Happy New Year!IMG_1177[1]
