Neighborhood: Meatpacking District

This is actually the place where I had my NYE dinner because everything else was sold out. I absolutely love the energy and style of the Meatpacking district, so when this place had an open reservation, I couldn’t resist. Bakehouse is a wine bar & Bistro style restaurant. I stuck with what I consider a “safe” option by having the Salmon with a side of roasted brussel sprouts. My friend had the organic chicken served with sautéed kale and potato gratin, and she also ordered a side of  Mac & Cheese (incredible side dish).  The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was flavorful and not overpriced. The ambiance was indeed one of the best parts of the meal. I was able to enjoy my wine and salmon with this incredible view of Manhattan by the water. What a perfect NYE treat.
