Zuma (Vegas)

Zuma is a global chain restaurant specializing in contemporary Japanese Cuisine. The Vegas location is located within the trendy Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino on the Vegas strip. The modern and sexy space features a chic sushi counter overlooking an open kitchen.

Everything about Zuma screams “Vegas Chic”, including the price tag (I spent almost $300). However visiting Zuma is a “Vegas experience” and is definitely worth a try, if you can spare the money.

Hands down, I recommend that you try one (or two) of Zuma’s Signature dishes on the menu, which are special dishes that are available at each Zuma locations worldwide. My dining partner and I picked the Rib Eye Steak, which was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. In fact, it may have been the best Rib Eye, I’ve ever had. Honorable mentions include the Fried Soft-shell Crab and the glazed ribs made with cashew nut and scallions. The x factor was surprisingly the California roll, which is made with real Alaskan King Crab and not the imitation filler, which made  a big difference in this simple yet “staple” sushi roll.

Overall, if you’re trying to “go all out” or simply have a little Vegas fun, then Zuma is the place to be! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
