Who is David Burke was the question my friend asked me when I told her that this is where we would be going for brunch. My response to her questions was… “the hell if I know”. Admittedly, I still don’t know who he “really” is but I’ve heard some good things about his restaurants. Food Network perhaps? Despite the fact that I had allowed my Groupon deal to expire, we still sucked it up and tried this David Burke spot. What we found was a modern American, chic, restaurant with some interesting food. While some items were better than others, overall, it was solid brunch choice. Am I crazy about David Burke? Not really, however, if you just need someone quick and different to go in the Soho area, it may be worth a try.
