Right across from Chef’s Morimoto’s new restaurant, in the MGM Grand Hotel, Chef Emeril Lagasse, a Vegas veteran, brings his love of fresh seafood and signature New Orleans style of cooking to his restaurant, “Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House”.
The restaurant serves “kicked-up” versions of market fresh fish and shellfish creations alongside flavorful steaks and inspired pork and chicken dishes.
In a city filled with celebrity chefs, Emeril is still one of my favorites and I always make time to visit his restaurants when I’m in town. If nothing else, you should check out Emeril’s Fish Shack for happy hour, which offers discounted drinks, wine, appetizers and raw bar specials. Oh and don’t forget to order a bowl of Gumbo because its probably the best you’re going to find on the Vegas strip.
