Vegas Eats: Iron Chef Morimoto Has Arrived in Vegas

Infamous Chef Masaharu Morimoto is an original Iron Chef and is now one of the most respected Japanese chefs worldwide. His resume is extensive; which includes being the head chef at New York’s famous original Nobu restaurant.  Today Morimoto’s restaurants are featured around the globe including the acclaimed Morimoto in Philadelphia and New York.

While long overdue, Morimoto has finally arrived in Vegas, appropriately at the MGM Grand Hotel.

During my visit to Vegas last month, I had the opportunity to stop by and have a bite at Morimoto. Of course, I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the quality was superb. Since I didn’t have a plan for my visit at Morimoto, I really just ordered whatever caught my attention. Here’s what I had:

Morimoto tacos (made with Tuna)

Seafood entrée – made with lobster, king crab, mussel, clam, diver scallop, red spicy broth

Salmon Rolls

Overall, it’s Vegas, which means there’s a plethora of fancy restaurants and celebrity chefs to choose from. However, being a Morimoto fan,  I recommend that you put Morimoto at the top of your list, especially if you’re a sushi lover! You won’t be disappointed. -AR
