Snapshot: Feroce Ristorante, Caffè & Bar (Chelsea)

The group behind Antica Pesa and Tao recently opened a new Italian restaurant called Feroce, which is located inside the Moxy Hotel in Chelsea.

Given that I am a big fan of the Tao Group and most of its restaurants, (e.g. Lavo, Beauty & Essex, Vandal.) I had to give their newest addition a try. I chose to have a midweek dinner with three of my girlfriends.

Admittedly, our service was a little “suspect” in the beginning. However, the service progressively got better as the night went on. I’m sure the food blogger/ professional camera had nothing to do with it. lol

In any event, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and gives off relaxing Italian countryside vibes, which I adore. In other words, this is a great date night spot. (hint, hint)

Everything my group tasted was amazing! Notably, I found that it was easy to stay low carb/carnivore at Feroce, as the menu is meat-heavy. I really enjoyed the fried eggplant appetizer, it was amazing.

And, because I and my girls are straight fat asses at times after we finished dinner, we went upstairs to Bar Feroce (2nd Floor) and had more drinks and some tasty thin-crust PIZZA, which is definitely a must-try!

Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner at Feroce. So if you’re ever in the area, go and check them out ASAP you won’t be disappointed……….. Tell them the Buppie Foodie sent you.
