Snapshot: 10 Photos to Inspire You visit the San Gennaro Festival in 2019

I was lucky enough to make my annual trip to the San Gennaro festival in Little Italy NYC (on the last day of the festival) !

What: The San Gennaro festival is an annual festival presented by Figli di San Gennaro (Children of San Gennaro), a not-for-profit community organization, which is dedicated to keeping the spirit and faith of the early Italian immigrants alive. The 92nd annual Feast of San Gennaro 2018, was held from Thursday, September 13, 2018 through Sunday, September 23, 2018. This is New York’s City’s largest and longest running festival, attracting over one million visitors each year.

Where: The Feast of San Gennaro is held in NYC’s”Little Italy” neighborhood and typically runs along Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston Street.

Why:  Eat at some of the best Italian restaurants in the city, watch colorful parades, catch free concerts, crafting and games. Also, don’t miss the world-famous cannoli-eating competition.
