Down the street from the Jamaica stop on the LIRR in Queens, there’s a Tapas Bar & Restaurant, which if it had not been for a friend, I would have never known existed.

Nevertheless, Sangria Tapas Bar & Restaurant is a wonderful gem in the area. The restaurant is clean and offers a warm, friendly environment. The food that I’ve tried to date was really good. The happy hour specials were even better, along with the Sangria, which you must try. (I prefer the Red)

If you’re in the area.(or if you get stuck at Jamaica on the LIRR ), then go down the street and give Sangria Tapas Bar & Restaurant a try. You will be pleasantly surprised.
