Overview: This Tiefenbrunner Chardonnay is from a historic, family-owned estate, made from 100% Chardonnay. The Chardonnay is vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve the flavors. Retails for under $20.

From the Winemaker: “this wine is pale yellow in colour with green reflexes. It has a pleasant aroma that characterises the variety, with meadow flower reminiscent of exotic fruits. Slightly spicy, well-structured and full in the mouth, it has a lingering finish on the palate” More information here.

My Tasting Notes: clean and a little creamy. Well-balanced, full-bodied with a lingering finish.

Recommended Food Pairing: Fish

The Buppie Foodie Rating: (4 out of 5 bottles)
