Pier 424 Seafood Market (French Quarter) – Review

This was actually my first stop this year in NOLA. Walking down Bourbon street, overwhelmed with choices, we picked this place because I wanted to try some fried alligator. The alligator was awesome, tasty and fresh. However………..

I think I discovered the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted in my life! I still don’t quite know what they put in the dish but there was definitely a grit patty, shrimps, corn, and something cheesy. It was fresh, hot, and very well-seasoned.

The only negative aspect of the experience was that the service a little slow. Nevertheless, the shrimp & grits and the alligator were both very delicious! We even came back twice during our trip.
