Nobu Downtown (Financial District)

Nobu is part of an upscale restaurant chain with locations throughout the US. The Nobu brand is said to be the original birthplace of Modern Japanese Cuisine. Nobu is definitely a “cool place” to add to your NYC restaurant repertoire.

This original flagship location opened in 1994 and is a partnership between restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Meir Teper, and Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro. After 20 years in TriBeCa, the restaurant is now located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District.

The new Nobu Downtown location features a striking ground floor Bar & Lounge and dramatic subterranean dining room to indulge in world-renowned Nobu Style cuisine. Open for lunch, dinner, and everything in between.
