I’ve been on a Groupon buying spree lately, which is how I ended up at Churchill’s in Rockville Centre a few weeks ago.
Admittedly, I did not have high expectations for Churchill because I was thinking that it was just like any other bar in the Rockville Centre area (i.e., Overcrowded, bad food, etc.) However, thankfully I was wrong.
Everything at Churchill’s was delicious. The restaurant’s tasty menu was filled with a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches and appetizers; along with some hearty homemade entrees. My dining partner and I tried the braised short ribs, which was simmered in brown gravy, served over mashed potatoes with roasted tomatoes & crispy fried onions. It was simply amazing comfort food along with the Thai Chili Wings.
Overall, Churchill’s was a solid dining experience in Rockville Centre, the restaurant was clean, the service was fantastic and the food was tasty. If you’re ever in the area, you should give Churchill’s a try.
