Killer Poboys New Orleans (French Quarter) – Review

Apparently, Killer Poboys is a pop-up establishment currently operating in the back of Erin Rose bar near bourbon street. I was admittedly a little scared when I entered the establishment because it didn’t appear like the type of place I could expect good food from. However, don’t judge a book by its cover! Go the very back of the bar, and order some of the most innovative poboy sandwiches that you will ever encounter! I ordered the pork belly poboy sandwich, which was cooked in a sweet rum ginger glaze. It was the most delicious poboy I have ever tasted in my life. (not exaggerating)  Unfortunately, by the time I discovered this masterpiece, I was stuffed and couldn’t try another one! When I visited, they were offering a meatloaf poboy, which I suspect was awesome as well.  The menu changes often, so don’t wait around to try one because it’s here today and gone tomorrow.

Since it’s not a sit down type of establishment, I recommend it for a quick, perhaps drunken bite, while cruising bourbon street.
