Happy Hour Pick: Cove Lounge (Harlem)

Cove is a chic, black-owned lounge located in the bustling 125th and Lenox area of Harlem. Cove is perfect for enjoying some small plates and drinks after work and is one of my favorite happy hour picks in Harlem.

Cove is a laid back, modern and comfortable. The lounge is perfect for small gatherings, especially in the private room located in the back of the restaurant. In fact, the cast of Power recently had their Private Premiere Party at the lounge last month.

Spearheaded by Executive Chef Jeffrey Salazar, the food at Cove is delicious.  People especially rave about their Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles and their Lobster Mac & Cheese, both of which I enjoy. During Happy Hour, along with their drink specials, some of their small plates are discounted as well, such as their Lemon Chicken Bites, Sliders and Crab Rangoon.

If you’re in the area, I’d suggest you give Cove Lounge a try!
