Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting restaurateur, Stephen Starr’s, newer restaurant venture in Battery City Park.I truly enjoyed happy hour at El Vez! The décor was beautiful, modern, and fun. The atmosphere was a mix of young professionals just coming from work nearby or young couples living in the Battery Park neighborhood coming for dinner. El Vez offers a variety of Margaritas and other fun cocktails. They also offer a collection of over 100 tequilas and mescal – perfect for a fun happy hour!
Interested in eating? The restaurant offers upscale Mexican fares with both traditional and fun Mexican- American inspired dishes. If you are looking to eat as well as drink during happy hour, I recommend trying my favorites, the guacamole (which is offered three ways) and the El Vez Steak. Both options are very delicious and tasty! If you are in the area try, El Vez in Battery City Park for happy hour!
