In case you didn’t know, (like me), Bed Stuy has a cozy wine bar located on Lewis Avenue, down the street from Peaches, which happens to be one of my favorite brunch spots in the area. Although this was my first visit, the hip ambiance at Therapy Wine Bar makes it the perfect place to visit for happy hour (1/2 price pours) or enjoy a laid-back date night in Brooklyn.
Therapy’s wine list is diverse and the cocktail menu features many delicious wine-based cocktails. Therapy’s signature drink is called the “Concrete Rose”, which is basically an alcoholic slurpee made with wine. Although I didn’t taste it, I heard it’s worth a try, especially in the summertime.
Even though it’s limited, the menu features a wide range of tasty finger foods, salads and cheese plates, to enjoy with you wine and/or cocktails.
Overall, Therapy is a great addition and hidden gem in the Bed Stuy neighborhood. If you’re ever in the area, don’t be afraid to stop by and have a drink. You won’t regret it.
