Lure Fishbar is a fine dining, seafood restaurant located in the heart of SOHO on Mercer Street. The restaurant offers not only the freshest fish selections from around the world but also a complete raw bar with rotating oyster selection.
Being that Lure is an upscale and trendy restaurant in Soho, don’t be surprised if you run into a celebrity or two during your visit. During my last visit, I actually ran into Michael Strahan.
Lure is typically participates in New York City’s Winter and Summer Restaurant Week. Since it’s on the pricier side, Lure is a good restaurant to visit and “sample” during restaurant week, without breaking the bank.

The food at Lure Fishbar is fantastic, fresh and well seasoned. In fact, I’m known to put salt on my Tuna Tartare because I often find that most restaurants serve it rather bland. However, not at Lure; the combination of the sea urchin vinaigrette and the pickled daikon, makes for a flavorful Tuna Tartare.
The Nori Crusted Tuna, accompanied with Garlic Fried Rice and Chinese Broccoli is a must-try! The Tuna is well- seasoned and cooked perfectly medium-rare with the outside cooked crispy. I’ve ordered this at least three times so far.
Based on my multiple visits, I highly recommend giving Lure Fishbar a try.
