Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love this place. My first visit to De Santos was almost two years ago, courtesy of a Gilt City deal.
The Ambiance: The Restaurant is located in a lovely, modernly decorated townhouse in the West Village, which means that De Santos stole my heart from the moment I entered the restaurant. The exposed brick and rustic décor was very welcoming. I particularly enjoy their second dining room next to their garden (which is lovely in the summertime. I highly recommend De Santos for a romantic date.
The Food: The menu is simple, deliciously seasoned and changes often. Everything I’ve had here to date has been awesome. During my last visit, I tried the bacon Mac & Cheese and a Burger; both delicious. (Next time, I promise to take pictures)
The Service: The service is always superb. The Bartenders are always attentive, friendly and accommodating during Happy Hour, even when the restaurant/bar gets crowded.
Happy Hour: I highly recommend De Santos during happy hour. They offer 2 for 1 drinks. All their specialty cocktails are delicious. However, my favorite drink thus far is the Lychee Martini.
