A few months ago, I was invited to a business lunch/presentation at Morton‘s in Midtown. The business/networking lunch was held in one of Morton‘s smaller conference rooms, which was perfect for this 30 person business lunch/presentation. The menu included a salad dressed with anchovies, choice between the steak or lump crab cakes and an assorted dessert arrangement.
Since I’ve visited Morton’s several times, I decided to try something other than steak, hence, why I opted for the lump crab cake on this visit. I’m glad I did try the crab cake because it was probably one of the best I’ve had in NYC to date.
This goes without saying but steakhouses such as Morton‘s attract a mature, professional crowd. Their bar also has decent happy hour specials (1/2 bar bites) and is a good opportunity to meet like-minded professionals after a long day at the office. Their bar bites, which start at $7 are also delicious.
Picking Morton‘s to host your next networking or business lunch is an excellent choice; good food, corporate environment and great service.
