Solomon & Kuff, is a chic, West-Harlem restaurant and Rum hall, serving over 100 international rums. The restaurant also features a live reggae DJ during weekend brunch!
I’ve been to Solomon and Kuff for brunch, a couple of times and I must say, the food has never disappointed. The Service on the other hand, has not always been the greatest. However, if you’re not a “sensitive diner”, then you should definitely check them out because the food is amazing.
During my first visit, I fell in love with the Sweet Yam Pancakes, which were the perfect balance of sweet and savory. During my second visit, since they ran out of Yam Pancakes (major side eye), I ended up trying the Banana Bread Waffles with Fried Fish. Honestly, I’m not even a waffle person, but this was the best waffle I’ve had in a long time. Other honorable mentions include the Smoked Crispy Potfish Cakes, served with Ackee Remoulade and The Bashment Punch, (Rum, Pineapple Juice, Mango Puree, Lime Juice, Orange Bitters)
Overall, if you’re looking for a fun and delicious, Caribbean style brunch in Harlem, Solomon & Kuff should definitely be on your short list.
