From the owners behind Burger & Barrel and my favorite Soho restaurant Lure Fishbar, Bowery Meat Company is an innovative and modern steakhouse with Italian influences.
While on the pricier side, as are most steakhouses in NYC, this hip, Italian-influenced steakhouse is definitely worth a try.
Of course the meat is delicious with the hanger steak, their cheapest/thinnest cut, being a good value for the price. You also can’t go wrong ordering the duck lasagna (for two) or the duck wings for a starter, I didn’t get a chance to try any sides, but I’m sure you can’t go wrong.
Overall, Bowery Meat Company is a good choice for the area. If nothing else, the laid back vibe and the good music will guarantee a good time out in the East Village.
