I first started going to PS 450 almost two years ago to date for my birthday brunch. I had never been there but a co-worker advised me that I should prepare myself for a party and an overall awesome time. Boy was he correct!!! This ended up being the best boozy brunch I’ve had in NYC to date.
For starters, it is on the pricier side. Two years ago I believe the price was $35 but now they have bumped it up to $45. However, I sincerely believe that it was worth every dollar and$45 is not bad for the fun/service/food you will receive.
The Food: They offer a basic brunch staples. PS 450 also offers their “over the top” French Toast. FRENCH TOAST BEC (Bacon, Egg and Cheese on Homemade French Toast) is my favorite and is absolutely delicious. I also enjoy the basic Steak and Eggs.
The Booze: Two hours of Mimosas, Bellinis or Bloody Marys (included with one Brunch Entrée). The best part is that the booze keeps coming and coming and coming. So yes, I agree that you can find brunch deals much cheaper in NYC but what’s the point if don’t leave there “boozed”? I guarantee at PS 450 you will leave “boozed”.
The Service: Excellent, friendly, attentive (constantly pouring more booze).
