Why: With 48 beers on tap, MexiBBQ is the place where southern BBQ meets Mexican! While I’ve had MexiBBQ for lunch and dinner,the restaurant is definitely at its best during Brunch. The savory brunch options coupled with the $16 unlimited hour and a half of drinks (Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, or a grapefruit beer) makes brunch at MexiBBQ a solid option in Astoria, where there is something for everyone. My only complaint about the brunch menu is that there are no taco options. Nevertheless, here’s a snapshot of my favorite brunch items below:
The Verdict & Recommendations: My favorite brunch items are by far the Steak & Eggs and the BBQ Brisket Egg Benedict (both pictured above). I also enjoy the Grapefruit beer! Overall, delicious and savory brunch option in Astoria; perfect for the beer lover in your life.
